The birch lights faster than me trying to toast bread on “max,” and the oak? Oh, it burns slow and hot, like it’s got all the time in the world and knows it’s worth it. My log burner’s basically purring. I half expect it to ask for a cigar and a glass of brandy.
Honestly, these logs burn so clean and beautifully that I’m starting to feel guilty about how much I enjoy setting them on fire. I’d shake the hand of the tree that grew them if I could.”
