“It's tempting in the winter months to just turn the heating up & hibernate. But if you don't want to lose too much form, you need to ride through ... and that means having the right kit.
These thermal tights are super comfy. Lots of stretch in the leg panels, plenty long enough & a soft, high tummy panel that doesn't cut while riding. I love the little details on the calf... very pretty.
So why only a score of 4/5?
I'm relatively small at 58kg & 5ft 6, so I bought the size 2. They are fabulous EXCEPT for the ankle gripper which is so tight i'd need to resemble a stick insect to find the ankle comfortable. (Or maybe I have fat ankles. Who knows!)
I immediately attacked the leggings with my sewing scissors & removed the ankle grip. Now they are great.... i just can't work out how small boned the model must have been! Take off the tight grip & i'll give you a perfect score.”
