“These came up small for me however I did guess the size a bit. I was not sure if the GEL or the foam would give the best padding. looks like I will have to wait until next season to try another Gel set of shorts as they are out of stock.”

I'm a big boy 5'11'', 310, 53/54" belly. I bought the Size 10s.
Sadly these fit exactly right! The legs are snug, not tight, right to above my knee. The shoulder straps go perfectly over my shoulders - keep the bib up well and never dig in or slip off. The Bib hugs my belly gently not too tight, easily loose enough to reach down and ... adjust... or go to the washroom. Seat padding fits well, in the right spot, not too big or too small. My belly never flops over the waistband, the bib keeps everything in place and it's not in any way hot (and it's been 30+ the last week).
They're the most comfortable and best-fitting cycling shorts I've ever owned.
I wouldn't mind these fitting a little sausagey … control top, if you will, on the belly part of the bib. Have no concerns about legs as they are plenty long enough that won't lose anything there by going to 9s. I think I will buy the 9s next time!”
