Oh no Richard that's not good - and not normal - we really do apologise and will of course replace it for you. I will arrange for a new one to be sent out to you right away. After use just rinse with clear water, squeeze out, and then ensure that you place it somewhere that it can fully air dry on all sides (I use one of those bathroom caddy metal racks, for example). If you have any problems please don't hesitate to email us - we are a small business and here to help with any problems, we will always happily replace anything with any fault - no quibble! our sincere apologies - Helen
