“Upgraded from a D5500 and what a difference. Great ergonomics and easy to reach instinctive buttons. Fits lovely in the hand and is light enough to carry in hand for hours at a time with a wrist strap. Image quality and focus speed/aquasition matched with a Nikor 70-300 fx is night and day compared to the 5*** series. Paired with the 18-55 AF-P kit lens is giving pleasant images indoors and outdoors for landscape. Plenty of modes if that's your style, I haven't tried them yet, in manual it's a joy to use and easy to change settings on the fly without having to leave the viewfinder. A must for me personally as I dislike having to put my glasses on and off. Aperture, Shutter speed, iso, focus area and exposure comp when using auto iso are all easy to adjust instantly. I use it mainly for birds in flight and general wildlife, it's handling it with ease. Everything I could want in an everyday camera and one that will accommodate me as I grow in skill. My only regret is we couldn't find a brand new one but the folks at carmarthen cameras sorted this used one and I'm delighted with it.”
