“I have been lucky enough to use and borrow from work a Leica Calonox sight for nocturnal bird surveys and ringing Jack Snipe. The Hikmicro is c. Half the price but I took a punt due to good reviews and the sensitive sensor. I’m glad I did. Used both monoculars today ringing snipe and for this purpose the Hikmicro is the better, clearer image, the snipe pop out more and of course a bigger FOV. Can’t yet speak on robustness, longevity or warranty but it’s a great start. Really pleased with my purchase. Carmarthen Camera Centre answered all my pre-order queries, shipped the product in good time as advertised, cannot be faulted.”
