“Very happy with this camera. Good images by day and night. Great service and good price from Carmarthen Cameras. A few points which are not obvious from the product description and which I hope are helpful for potential buyers: 1. The camera comes with a quick start guide. You will find a much more detailed manual on the Spypoint website. 2. The solar panel charges an internal rechargeable lithium battery which can also be charged from the mains using a USB cable which comes with the camera. You can therefore run this camera without ever installing expensive AA batteries. 3. The camera images have a 12 MP file size. However, you can very easily increase this to 24, 36 or even 48 MP for any photos you select by using a very simple “drop and drop” app (available free at www.sypoint.com/MP: will only work with photos taken on Spypoint cameras). 4. I mount my camera on a tripod and the socket on this camera is the best I have come across. Most cheap cameras have a tripod socket at the bottom of a plastic bracket attached to the back of the camera and this soon cracks. The socket in this camera is right in the centre of the base of the of the camera box itself. 5. Other features I like, and which are rarely found in other trail cameras (including expensive brands): can programme times when camera is active; can be programmed to take photo first before video; great choice of video lengths (10, 30, 60 and 90 seconds); can set date in UK format (day/month/year).”
