“My last Billingham Hadley Small was black. It lasted for 16 years and was used just about every day. 100% waterproof until it worse out - it never let me down. Best camera bag ever and for its small size carried a surprising amount of kit. I expect to get the same from this one. Billingham now does a wider range of colours and I had a hard time choosing which to go for. I love the grey version and also the midnight (even though it is more expensive) but both those bags have a black insert, which I felt might make it hard to see stuff in the dark. I chose red because the inner is brown and the bag is a gorgeous colour. Apart from the colour, the main difference from my old bag is that this one is canvas not fibrenyte, and the strap seems softer and more comfortable. Other than that - same old Billingham quality - maybe this one will outlive me!”
