“Just installed this clutch kit with a 10lbs flywheel from Bofi as well and I gotta say I absolutely love this clutch kit , I daily my Mx5 which is my track car and this kit feels way better than the excedy kits and Flyinmiata kits, the engagement feels like a stock clutch but bites nicely and doesn’t jerk the car around , with the 10lbs flywheel as well it’s daily driver friendly and honestly makes the car feel more fun !”

“Just finished installing a few days ago so currently breaking it in, but it feels very nice and close to stock, and, despite ordering it in lock-down and facing some supply issues, BOFI has been a very good company in terms of customer service, providing a full refund on my delivery costs when requested due to long delays. My car is currently N/A but will be boosted as soon as the lock-down is over and I can visit people to do it with. I will update my review if I ever find the limits of this clutch and find them to be sub-standard, but otherwise assume that it is working great as it seems to be doing so far.”

“Installed this alongside the Lightweight Competition Clutch Flywheel and so far it's fantastic. The pedal feel is no different to stock but the engagement is spot on, slamming it through the gears on a spirited drive and it just grabs instantly, locking the back wheels on downshifts for extra fun. Will definitely handle alot of abuse. You just have to get used to giving it a bit more throttle when setting off or else it judders quite significantly, but this is the same with any uprated clutch and is negligible once you're accustomed to it. This is the only clutch you should be looking at getting honestly.”

“Excellent pedal feel with very positive engagement. Comparing this to a lot of the high performance clutches for the MX5 on the market there's no comparison. Engagement is smooth and positive without being unnecessarily grabby. Holds all of the power I can throw at it on my supercharged Mk1 1.6 both on track and the road, even with the occassional clutch kick on a roundabout, somewhere in Mexico. Fitted to a Competition Clutch lightweight flywheel to help improve throttle response this is a clutch I would fit again and again without question.”

“Good quality clutch. Stock-like pedal feel. Done 500 miles of hard driving on it so far and I've had no issues. Would definitely recommend. Great customer service at bofi too.”

“Seems to be good quality, fitted up no problem. Impressed with the feel of it, no real increase in stiffness that I've noticed, and not grabby, so provided it holds the power once I fit the turbo, I'm very happy with it! Very driveable which was what I was hoping for. Only slight issue is it is juddering quite a lot on the bite point, however I've only done ~100miles on it so far so hopefully will settle down once it's bedded in. Probably down to my own incompetence when fitting more than anything. Good service and advice from BOFI when buying.”
