“Rebuilding a caliper is normally a relatively easy task provided you have a couple of picks and an air line. But because these are rear calipers you'll need circlip pliers and some serious G-clamps to safely disassemble the handbrake mechanism and transfer it to the new pistons. I had to take mine to a professional mechanic. If you can re-use your existing pistons and just need to replace tired or torn seals, this is a good and inexpensive kit. If you were hoping to swap pistons as well, you might be better off buying a whole caliper.”
