“I've had the Tecnas (6/4 spring rate) on my mk1 for a few months now, and they have been absolutely amazing. With fully polybushed suspension, I needed something that could deal with the added harshness and provide a smooth ride. The Tecnaas do that very well. I've been driving both stock and highly modified MX-5s for almost 20 years, and I can honestly say this is my favorite suspension setup to date. With the coilovers set in the middle, the ride is firm and very planted. A few clicks lower, and I have no problem taking the car on longer road trips. I haven't even set them on the stiffer end of the spectrum yet....I would feel confident on a track with them set in the middle. Well worth the investment.”
