“Fit is snug as it should be. Old car rails are usually mangled, but easy to restore them into shape with a rubber mallet. Product is well designed and no problems with installation. For the fuel line side just need to loosen all the fuel line fasteners and rail slides under nicely. I could feel the stiffness of the car afterwards. I have a stretch of road nearby that is very bouncy and I would get thrown around driving fast over it. Frame rails reduced bouncing around noticeably. If car body flexes it acts as a spring and there is no damper for it, hence the bounciness. Stiffening car up transfers loads to the springs. One thing to note is that these rails or other stiffening actually make your springs feel softer, as they now have to work more.”
