Diffuser looks really smart now it’s fitted. Note for earlier NC models (mine is 2006) it doesn’t fit quite as easily as is shown on YouTube, (it’s caused by the step in the bumper that newer NC don’t seem to have) and you’ll definitely need to bolt it in place. But it’s worth the effort and adds to the look of the rear end.

Fits well did need a little bit of heat gun use but apart from that I’m very happy with it gives the back end a bit of a thicker look

I'm a complete novice and this was my first ever car modification to my NC1. First step was to use a heat gun to heat the diffuser to mould it into its shape around the bottom of the bumper. It's a huge help if there are two of you to help hold, heat and mould the diffuser into shape before sticking and mounting it in it's final position. Applied 3M 5952 VHB Tape 12mm x 3m to go around the seam and Tigerseal sealant from Halfords to help with the adhesion. Just for safe measure, drilled and used 5 M6 bolts (3 in the middle, 2 on either side down by the corners of the diffuser.) Used nylon locking nuts and washers for extra security just in case the sealant should fail for whatever reason. After a day or so when the diffuser was set on the car, noticed the left side of the diffuser was hanging slightly lower than the right. Being a novice I asked around for advice. I was told to lift the diffuser to level it out. I did so using the vehicle jack. Once happy I reapplied the heat gun to the area that needed lifting. I found working with polyurethane can be easy to work with after you get the confidence and learn how it responds to heat. Made a few mistakes along the way but was expected as it was my first mod. The team at BOFI Racing were super helpful throughout. Totally recommended 10/10. NC looks sooo awesome now!! =D

Absolutely love the appearance! Gives the rear end a much more aggressive look and stance.

Really good product and really fast shipping easyish install, the tape it came with wasn’t sticky so bought some more tape and self tapping screws (I recommend 30mm+ long) and I also made a bracket to hold the bottom but easy to put on even in the pouring rain

The diffuser looks great! It was delivered quickly, I'm yet to fit it but when I do it'll really transform the rear of my NC (especially because the soft top is black as are the wheels so the colour scheme will be perfect).
