“This is a very handy tool for quickly assessing brake pad wear without resorting to vernier callipers. I have bikes with both SRAM and Shimano brakes - each manufacturer has its way of specifying the replacement specification. This tool caters for most manufacturers and makes it easy to check pad wear whilst pads are out for normal calliper cleaning and check. A very useful addition to my tool box in my view.”
