“I own a 1996 Samick made Epiphone Sheraton. The original bridge is still functioning well, but the saddles show significant wear, which makes me a little concerned about how they will hold up in the future. There is another bridge available on this site, described as a replacement for 90s Epiphone Sheratons. I tried this, it did indeed fit on the unusual post spacing, but unfortunately there was not enough range of movement on the saddles to achieve correct intonation. I later found these posts, which have solved the problem. I am now able to use a standard abr1 type bridge, and can position the new posts to allow enough adjustment scope to intonate correctly. I did modify the height of the posts slightly, by sawing off 3mm at their base to create the perfect length to fit into the guitar, while leaving the full range of height on the narrow section to adjust action.”
“Bought this to allow replacement of the particularly egregious stock bridge on an '87 Sheraton. Had my doubts about how well this would work but in practice it's incredibly simple, doesn't mess up intonation and isn't cosmetically noticeable if you get the saddles to go with it.”
“I'd hesitated for a long time about risking this part on an Epiphone ES-335. Bought it along with Kluson abr-1nylon saddle bridge....fitted in 2 minutes....simple task. Perfect fit. Fantastic upgrade. Highly recommended.”
