“I ordered one but had to send it back - it just wouldn't fit my 90's Samick Sheraton. Very nearly - perhaps half a millimetre out.
I'm thinking of re-ordering it and getting someone to mill the post hole in the bridge big enough to get a fit, but am unsure what that would do to tone. The alternative is to fit new saddles but that seems a bit of a project. Tricky one: the existing saddles are just about shot.
The chaps at Armstrong Music couldn't be more helpful. They say I'm not the first with this and that some fit and some don't. Don't let me put you off trying.”
“Bought to replace rattling bridge on an Eastcoast GJ20 as it was best size replacement I could find, 73mm post spacing, other than cheap Chinese bridges, the problem in the first place. Well built and just dropped straight on; sustain seems to have increased with this as well - unexpected but welcome. Customer service very good - wrong posts sent but replaced next day.”
“Fits well into the post, spacing is spot on. WISH the saddles were not pre cut, string spacing of 52mm isn't right, my Sheraton comes up at 50mm on the original bridge and also tail piece spacing. Will have to order new saddles at extra expense. Also, ordered Nickel, looks more chrome TBH. It's well put together so I would recommend BUT get some more saddles while you're at it”
