“It took the squirrels 24 hours to unscrew the pod and run away with it. I screwed it in very tight afterwards. Sometimes it lasts for days, other times it's gone twice a day. I don't think they do it intentionally - it just unscrews and falls out while they do their acrobatics to try and feed from it. It definitely has a design flaw in that the screwing-in-mechanism has only half a turn. It would probably stay in better if it was two turns! The other squirrel problem: They don't only chew the flutterbutter but the plastic from the holder too. And probably swallow it too. Not good for either the holder or the squirrels. Having said all this - when the pod is and stays in, the little birds absolutely love it! It looks very comfortable, the way they sit on the little ledge and feed for a long time. So, if you don't have squirrels in your garden (does anybody not have them?) - this would be a really good buy! Hence the second star rather than just one.”

“Not easy to use but also feel that was part missing which is the chain ended up trying to use X-Large cable ties and even bit of string but don't think string will last so need to find suitable chain...”
