“This really does work in preventing the squirrels but in my view could be made of slightly thicker material, or be given a metal edge. The first 11 days saw a couple of squirrels spending at least 2-hours a day to eat through the baffle, before giving up. They have returned on a few more ocassions but understand that their efforts are in vain. They managed to destroy my previous 4 measures, so this is a resounding success, though as you can see from the images, I think that I will have to replace this in a couple of years if they decide to try again!”

“Too early to be able to tell. The squirrels have disappeared (Feb 2025) - very cold at the moment. Product was easy to assemble and placed around the pole of our bird table. We haven't had many bird visitors to the bird table since it was fitted - it does take time for wildlife to adjust to new items? I cannot rate the squirrel baffle yet for the above reason - I have ticked acceptable but feel that it will be first class if the squirrels return with warmer weather!”

“Sadly this product has not helped, but it seemed like a good idea. However, the squirrels proved to be far too smart, and soon figured out how to bypass the baffle, one even uses the very edge to help his exit from the table to the ground. It was worth a try.”

“Not the success I had hoped for. It looks as if it should work but the squirrel just uses it as a jumping ramp to get to the bird table ! Disappointing.”

“This was bought to replace an existing baffle which had deteriorated with weather time and chewing. This baffle is of good strong material and does the job that is needed.”

“Not only does this product work it has given endless amusement. Initially our birdhouse was roughly a little more than a metre away from a hedge and took the squirrel half a day to work out if he climbed the hedge he could jump onto the roof and access the food in the birdhouse. Realising this I moved it to the middle of the garden. I am half expecting them to climb the washing line pole and try that way but as yet they haven't, however, fitting this baffle has caused hours of amusement for us as one squirrel has learned he can get his front paws on the edge but as soon as he tries to throw his body to the top it tips and he ends up on the ground. You can almost see his brain trying to work out how he can dupe it but so far the baffle wins, this is the best thing we have bought and the birds are thoroughly enjoying the feed that the squirrel can no longer hoover up.”
