Nest box in position for prospective tenants. I gave a couple more of this type of box and they have proven to be popular.

It should stop nestlings being predatated by Woodpeckers boring a hole in the side of wooden previous wooden ones.

I live on the edge of Dartmoor. I'm slowly building up these nest boxes on my property. They are excellent because they won't perish like wooden ones. Also lve have problems with nest raiding by woodpeckers. This is no longer a problem.

I previously bought 10 wooden nest boxes from a garden centre that were well used by birds but started to split after a couple of years. These are made from a much better material, feel far more durable, and look like they will last well beyond the 10-year warrantyt

We purchased 6 Woodstone nest boxes, the fixing hanger is not the most secure method, I suggest you adopt the more secure system used for the Robin boxes, which we also bought. I rectified the hanger short commings by drilling the nest box rears & used 75mm stainless steel coach screws to fix the boxes to various trees. I hope this is usefull Regards Keith

I have many bird boxes situated around the Garden and house. I bye wooden boxes but after a couple of years they need maintenance. Woodstone is ideal, predetor proof and very little maintaenance needed.
