“I think the gap is too small and I can’t see how to make it bigger. A Robin tried to feed and couldn’t, just banged itself on the food tray. Lovely design but it doesn’t seem to work and a week later the seed container is still full. Feedback would be useful.”

Thank you so much for your feedback. This particular design is best suited to smaller bird species such as tits and finches. Unfortunately, it’s not ideal for Robins, who prefer a more open feeding space due to their body shape and feeding style. “Easy for small birds to access the seeds. The top does screw off, but I have to get my husband to do it, as my hands are not strong or large enough!”

“Was hoping this feeder would solve the issue of seed getting wet in the rain. However didn't get the chance to try it out as the lid was very difficult to get off and on! Returned at my own cost which was half the price of the feeder!”

“The little birds liked these straight away. The Goldfinches are really enjoying them can't say other birds are using them but I have 3 outside & 1 to put out when 1 is empty. They are used every day its a joy watching the birds eat so well”
