“Got a Hedgehog showing interest in making this its winter abode. Like the design and now we’ve covered it in branches I think it will be very tempting for a spiky dweller soon”

“Pretty sure had a hedgehog move in the first night, somethings in there, anyway! Seems well made and a nice size for a hedgehog , not sure if it would be big enough for a breeding mother and babies, although at my last house I was amazed that a family of mum and 5 babies all got in the hogilo I had there, so maybe ok. Appears well made, I like the ventilation holes and looks like it would be cosy and watertight. I wasnt sure about the lid, I don't think anything could work out how to open it, but have put a brick on it , just in case. Maybe a little hook would be good? Fits nicely under a Bush next to the shed , blends in well.”

“I have a tripod rescue in my garden. She took to the hogilo like a duck to water. I stuffed it full of barley straw and provided her with extra which she takes in for extra bedding. I think she’s finding it a bit warm in the very hot weather even though it sites in permanent shade so she takes herself off each day to somewhere else in the garden but returns each night on the dot of 10pm to check out her home. During the night she pays frequent visits back to check it out. A great success.”
