I used all last summer for my hog houses and have just added some more for their winter hibernation. It is very good quality, well packaged and delivered promptly.

Used in the hedgehog houses - rather small, I'm sure it used to go further.

Hay was fine ...Not sure of an alternative but would have been great to not be in a plastic bag

Thank you for your review! Our hedgehog bedding bags are recyclable at facilities that accept flexible plastics. We recommend checking with your local recycling program or drop-off points at local supermarkets for flexible plastic recycling to ensure proper disposal. However, in the very near future we will be transitioning to bags made from 100% recycled plastics, which are also recyclable. Kind regards, The Ark Wildlife Team.
