“Since you ask, every avian visitor to the garden refused to look at, let alone eat, the golf-ball shaped suet balls. Got the impression they might have made decent cannon shot at Waterloo (check with Wellington and/or Napoleon), but a dead loss as bird food.”

Thank you for your feedback. As birds are wild animals, they can certainly be fussy when it comes to trying new foods. They’re creatures of habit, so if you’ve found a particular food that works well with the birds in your garden, we’d recommend sticking with that, as consistency often encourages return visits. Regarding our Deal of the Month: the contents do vary, which can sometimes mean a change from what your regular garden visitors are used to. We appreciate this can result in a few turned beaks. We’d also like to highlight that our Premium Fat Balls, which you ordered, are densely packed with high-quality, nutritious ingredients and have a significantly higher fat content than many alternatives available from other retailers. “All my visiting birds, including a herring gull enjoy the seed I buy for them, also the fat balls. The sparrows have certain times of the day when they visit but the starlings make great inroads to the food leavingt less for the smaller birds. Also have a flock of feral pigeons that eat anything they can!! Makes for goofd viewing!!”
