“Had to stop using cat biscuits as they attracted........cats. ( who knew). This nut / insect based mix is of not interest to moggies so the hogs get their nightly feed.”

“I am not sure whether to recommend this, the hedgehogs in my garden (as I saw on my camera) did eat it all, but I felt it was important that I pick out the dried mealworms first which can be really dangerous to hedgehogs (much as they love them), if they eat too many, too much phosphorous. I know they say that the product is a balanced mix but this would only be valid if you had total control of their diet.”

Instead, it includes Black Soldier Fly Larvae, which can look similar but are nutritionally quite different. If you're feeding hedgehogs regularly, we would recommend trying our Ark Hedgehog Food Original. “It is a joy to feed the hedgehogs who occasionally need a little help. They are in decline and it's vital we can help. The feed you have available is nutritious and healthy for them too. Just need to figure a way of discouraging the rats.”
