It’s okay, as a rangefinder, but not worth the subscription, nor should you ditch your current rangefinder. With this, you only get the plays like for pin distance, no front and back distances, unless you laser them, but then you are effectively updating the pin position. I therefore still open the app on my iphone to get the full picture - and from that I can mentally compute the distance to add or subtract from my Nikon Coolshot. The Arccos Smart Laser adds nothing worth spending money on, unless you don’t already own a rangefinder.

Great compliment to the ARCCOS system I already use. The yardages and adjusted yardages appear to be accurate. The rangefinder does locate the pin and transfer that data to the app, however it's accuracy has been variable. It does appear to locate the pin along the distance arc is shows on the green, but does not consistently locate it the pin in the right place on the green. The product is not too bulky. Appreciate the magnet feature which allows me to hang it on the cart frame. Slope on/off feature is typical.

It makes distance much easier and it marks the pin so your putting computation is better. I would sometimes forget to set the pin during a round. This is so much nicer. I have used the plays like yardage more than the yardage off of the GPS. This a definate good addition to the entire system.

I’m blown away by the speed and accuracy of the range finder. I love the clarity of the glass and big bright display. I tested it side by side my fairly new bushnell rangefinder and the smart laser handled amazingly. I started using arccos a couple years ago when I got back into golf because I wanted to keep my stats, see the distances of my shots, and know my weaknesses so I can improve. I started off a 25 handicap and now I’m down to 12. When I heard that the smart laser would communicate with both the arccos app and my watch and give me more accurate yardages, I knew it was for me.
