“Coming out of arrivals, the signposting for Long Stay and Jet Park was not clear. People waiting in a queue for Long Stay found it difficult to navigate past railings those who were waiting for Jet Park. Some clear separation/queuing would alleviate this problem.
The road directions to and from the car park were clear and easy to follow in daylight and appropriately located. Increased illumination at night would help considerably. Internal LSCP directions were mostly clear, although some of the asphalt road markings were worn and would be a problem reading at night. The bus stops were clearly marked and the buses frequent, possibly better than one every 15 minutes. Internal signposts were sometimes covered with foliage, those near the green perimeters. The LSCP exit signs are far too small, not clear and also sometimes obscured by foliage. Access to the airport in well managed, bus drivers are helpful and signage at the airport etc is clear.”
“Only issue was queuing on return for the courtesy bus was some passengers pushing in. Unfair and annoying! The bus stand requires either a staff member to ensure that this doesn’t happen or a ticketing system whereby a ticket is collected something like happens at supermarkets to access the deli.”
“Straightforward to find from the A120 travelling south, and even easier to return north. Transport to the airport was easy. The return journey on a Saturday evening (20:30ish) took a long time ... although the sign says every 15 minutes, the we waited at elast 20, and not everyone in the queue was able to get on. The bus travelled around each stop in turn - Blue #9 for us - it was 21:30 before we were in our car and leaving. That's the only reason for losing a star. It was the cheapest parking we found and our car was fine sitting amongst many others in decent sized spaces.”
