“While the parking areas are vast and well planned out, you must remember to add on a good 30 - 45 minutes to each trip.
Why? The buses are every 15 minutes, true but add on the 15 minute ride which can take longer if there is traffic. If you just missed a bus,(ie you’re the only one standing at the stop), that 15 minutes till the next bus arrives.
Also don’t forget to write down your stop number when you park, so you can get off close to your car when you get back.
It is cheaper if booked in advance and you don’t have to pay for individual tickets like on the trains or National express.”
“All went very smoothly other than the return bus. Although 5 people rang the bell for red6/7 stop the driver drove on and left everyone to walk back! Having received assisted travel throughout my holiday I did not appreciate the additional walk with 2 suitcases - the upshot being I ended up waiting for my husband to retrieve the car and come to collect me.”
