“Very simple and competitively priced. Never had to wait for the bus going to and from the airport (in afternoons and evenings). Carpark and buses cleaned and well maintained. Would use again. PS exit was simple as it ANPR just uses your licence plate to exit, but for peace of mind, I would rather have some clear system or knowledge that someone stealing your car isn't going to get out easily- so maybe scan a QR code as well or the system maybe be set up that it won't let the car out easily if the time leaving isn't pre-set parameters around your original flight arrival time?”
“Easy to find and plenty of spaces, the only negative point is that if you are not at the first bus stop the bus gets full and drives past so you have to wait for the next bus or walk over to the first pick up point.”
“The parking arrangement and shuttle bus worked well.
However, on arrival it took about fifteen minutes to get through the barriers.
I had pre booked parking; the first barrier did not open. I contacted the control and was advised to try another barrier, which wouldn't open either. The controller attempted to open the barrier from their end but their computer had 'crashed'. Eventually the third barrier we tried eventually opened by the controller. The whole time this was happening other cars went through the same barriers without any delay. A frustrating experience that ate away at the time available to pass through security.
On return to Stanstead again the barrier would not open automatically and I had to contact the control for them to open the barrier.”
“Pretty good signage, buses frequency not too bad but more would be nice, it's like 10-15 minute ride + 10-15 mim wait if you just miss a bus, if you're in a hurry, don't use Long stay.”
