“Really good, is a little confusing getting to the correct car park because of the bendy roads and the way its sign posted, but other than that its really easy, buses come regularly and its literally drive to the barrier, park, wait at the bus stop and get dropped to the airport.
on the way back wait at the bus stop, tell the driver where you want to be dropped, or he will call out who needs to be dropped where, get dropped, put your luggage in your boot, drive to the barrier at it automatically opens and off you go!
would definitely use it again. very convenient”
“Parking at Jet Parks was fine: easy to find, plenty of space, and easy transfer to the terminal.
However, I did manage to get confused by the automatic barrier...
When I drove up to the barrier, the system recognised the car, and the screen showed a message welcoming me by name. The barrier opened and I drove forward. THEN I realised that there was a ticket I should have taken. By the time I had reached out for it, it had gone back into the machine. I pressed the button for help, and was told by the (very friendly) operator to park the car, but that I would need to speak to an operator when the time came to retrieve it to exit on my way home.
Upon my return to the UK, I approached the barrier armed with my booking number, and everything else I could think of to confirm my identity, but when I approached the exit barrier, it simply opened to let me out.
Not an insoluble problem then, but the faff could have been avoided if the barrier hadn't opened before the ticket was taken.”
“You need to know how the parking system works otherwise it could be very confusing. Lots of people parked their cars not knowing what to do. Need to improve their instructions and make the people parking their vehicles aware of the system. Could do with some help around the place, like having an attendant. But after you know the system not to bad. I would urge anyone using the parking to fully read the instructions and understand it otherwise you might miss your flight”
