“Very basic room. The bed was dreadful, as every time you turned over in bed, it squeaked very badly, it was so loud, it kept us awake all night, not ideal when we had to be up at 4.30am for an early flight, it was also uncomfortable. Not a lot of things to order on the menu for evening meal. It's a shame as it is in a good position to get to terminal 2 airport.”
“Appreciate it was a budget room but was very small and very hot even with so called air conditioning on a night when it wasn't particularly warm. Good job we were only in for one night had a very uncomfortable experience. The sister hotel across the road, Holiday Inn would seem to be a better option and if you want to sit and eat it is in this hotel you need to go. Ibis has food vending machines.”
“"Budget" - But very clean and secure room and comfortable bed and a great nights sleep - Room size is a little small but perfectly adequate and has a great powerful shower. Food and drink is available at a reasonable cost and continental breakfast can also be purchased. (However if you want a cooked breakfast in the morning ? - The IBIS is ideally located just a short walking distance from a nearby Hotel, where a cooked breakfast can be purchased by non residents ) Making the IBIS an ideal choice for an over night stay at Terminal 2 - Manchester Airport.”
“We did not like the room very much as the double bed was up against the wall, meaning getting in and out of the bed, especially during the night, not very convenient. On the plus side everything was very clean.”
