“On returning to the car at 11.30pm, our car was parked in the warehouse where it had been dropped off.
The night watchman informed us that the car had suffered damage, on inspecting the car the rear light cluster had been smashed and damage to the bodywork and bumper He informed us not to worry as someone would contact us first thing.
We had to drive the car home using the high-intensity lights due to the damage impacting the lighting system.
I was contacted to say they had apprehended the lorry driver responsible, got a statement and details.
The statement stated that the car had been parked on the road half on and half off the curb by the fast food van, not as APH claimed that all cars were stored in a fenced compound the car was clearer parked on the road and driven up the curb. the operator offered nothing other than to say the car was parked at our risk. I paid for fenced secure parking, not for the car to be parked on an industrial estate.
The issue is now with our insurers and legal team”
