“The basic service was good for clean inside and out, however the directions to it were very difficult to follow meaning that we almost missed out flight.
We dropped our car off and that part was fine and very easy once we found it.
On arrival back we collected our baggage and then called the desk as instructed in the email. The person answering said 20 minutes so we made our way straight there. Again getting lost because the instructions were unclear, however it took around 20 minutes to find. We arrived at the desk but had to wait for them to sort another client who had arrived at the wrong time and was confused over the times given. This took at least 10 minutes. We then collected our keys but with 2 children under 5 and needing to put our roof rack for luggage back on our car this took another 20-25 minutes. We were doing this right outside the meet and greet desk and at no point were we told we had a time limit to leave by. We arrived at the exit gates but were not able to leave unless we paid £7. We pressed the buzzer to explain but were told we had to pay as we had taken too long, then holding up a queue behind us. We called MBW who were extremely rude and told us that we had called them almost an hour before to tell them we had landed so it was our fault for taking too long and we needed to pay with absolutely no sympathy. We pressed the buzzer again and the man very reluctantly and abruptly shouted for us to move back, then opened the barrier which he could have just done in the first place. This backwards and forwards unnecessary stress added even more time onto our journey.
We will not use this meet and greet service again.”
