“This was a problem for us as we had a barcode from APH but there was no barcode reader on entry to the car park. We were. Required to take a ticket to gain entry, we then parked and went to the pay both to explain the situation. After talking to the attendant by intercom at some length ,he said our registration number would be recognised at the exit gate.
We then went away on holiday and had an amazing time.On our return we drove to exit gate where the barrier stayed firmly down. After inserting the ticket that we obtained to gain entry to the car park it told us we owed £240 for the week.We then pressed the intercom to talk to the attendant, by this time we had a considerable queue behind us. After much discussion with the attendant he agreed to let us out, to the relief of the many cats behind us.
This is NOT good enough, there seems to be a disconnect between APH and Exter airport.
Please advise me what you intend to do to improve this totally unacceptable procedure.
