“APH airport long stay parking for East Midlands Airport.
I parked for 4 weeks at a very good price, APH is easy to find and has loads of car spaces to pick from.
Pick up bus every 15-20 mins.
So parking for leaving is very easy, BUT the return is where things could be better.
The pick up point out side the air terminal isn't far, but it lacks good weather cover. What little cover is at the bus stop is quickly filled with people and luggage, so standing in the rain at night isn't funny. The type of bus used for the job with only one door does not work as the bus is quickly filled by standing passengers and their luggage. After a long flight you do not want to have to lift you luggage into racks so it would be better to have space to slide your luggage into. Then we then have the fun of getting passengers off the bus to let others off, who are sitting at the back.
APH could fix this problem by using a type bus with a front entrance and side exit twin door, like they use in most Europe airports. I hope someone from APH reads this feed back is the only way of improving your service.”
“Only drawback is the lack of buses/size of them as unable to get all customers aboard to begin there holiday and end there holiday without too long await”
“Park was ok. Got a good price for the week we were away. Bus driver on outbound flight was really rude to a group of elderly travellers. Jet park 1 and jet park 2 are not announced by the driver and he shouted at a group. It was raining and he made them walk back to jet park 1 from jet park 2 and one had mobility issues. Would consider another car park in future because of the drivers behaviour.”
