“Signposting for entrance to car park 1 is really poor as there is nothing to indicate where you go after the large roundabout next to it. Instead a large sign is placed at the exit! Why?! We went around the block three times. Once inside, we drove around endlessly trying to find a space. There must be a better way to ensure you get a space if you've paid for one months in advance. Upon leaving the car, one of the lifts to exit was out of order but no sign to say so and of course pressing the call button in the lobby kept opening the doors to the faulty lift which in turn stopped the working lifts from being called. And whether a coincidence or not, a fraudulent charge of £12 turned up on my credit card from NCP although I had booked through APH! Iwon't be coming back.”
“Car park 1 is the right answer for people who are not as agile as they used to be, provided a space is pre-booked! However, we found upon arrival that the car park was full except for bookings, but the entrances were blocked by people who could not read the notices posted at the entrance. This caused chaos. Bigger notices are required and on the entrance approach, not just when it's too late! Otherwise all fine.”
“Obviously the location to the terminal is the main reason to book CP1 but after a simple online booking process you pull up,the system reads your number plate and let's you in, and it's as simple when you leave.
I've used the off site parking previously but now I'd rather pay that little extra and use CP1.”
