“I'm not going to run in these, but close to a running shoe with open top. the sole is thick rubber, and a decent shoe.update: the tongue doesn't stay in place, so everytime you need to pull it out to put your shoe on. -subtract a star, should have a strap to hold tongue in place.”
“These shoes are really ideal for bicycling. Now during the rainy season here in Southeast Asia, it won't matter if the rains come while I'm out on the bike. These shoes are exactly what I've been looking for.”

“I love this shoe. I’ve bought many water shoes over the years and this is by far the best. All other water shoes retain water inside so your feet are constantly sloshing in water even after you come out of the river/lake/pool and you have to take the shoe off to empty the water. These are specially designed so that water doesn’t stay inside. They are super light but also super resistant so you can safely walk on jagged rocks, rough sand, etc. and they won’t weigh too heavily in your luggage/travel bag. They dry much much faster than other water shoes. This is convenient if you are on the go and need to pack up your shoes without waiting for them to dry. It also helps in avoiding that wet mildewed smell when something stays wet too long.No complaints really. If I had to nitpick I’d say they should have laces that allow you to tighten the shoes as desired. They fit well but you cannot control how tight they are just in case you want to make them looser or slightly more fitted. Otherwise perfect in every way.”
