“If something is advertised as a 'water shoe', I expect to be able to walk on beaches and in streams without tons of sand and pebbles easily entering and hurting my feet. Once the sand gets in, it is hard to get out. I did not try the washing machine as I was afraid of jamming its outlet pipes with so sand. When the shoe dried (took a while), I tried to hose it down with water to get the sand out, sand still remained. This shoe design has not been properly thought out for its stated function.”
“Truly the most comfortable shoes I've bought. i only bought them to go wading in rivers, but I actually wear them all the time now they are so comfortable and light!”
“I don't generally wear shoes, but sometimes you just have to and these work great for me. They feel much like I am not wearing anything on my feet. I can walk through water puddles and have dry feet a few minutes later. They go on quickly and easily. The only downsides are that they tend to catch any little stones or pebbles due to the open weave soles and they do wear out relatively fast, but given the price, they are a good investment.”
“I bought these to use as ultralight camp shoes while backpacking, but the large cut outs in the soles of these shoes make 5em terrible for wear anywhere there are small rocks as they get lodged quite easily in the holes. Some rocks even got pushed up far enough that they impacted the sole of your foot. I threw these away once I got home. Poor design.”
