“I like these shoes but one thing that I'm not too sold on is that the mesh pattern is very open so you can see your foot through them and not as attractive / stylish when wearing them. The picture makes them look more like sneakers but once put on they resemble more like water shoes. I guess that is to be expected but with a tighter mesh pattern you would still get the drainage and drying capabilities and retain the look of a sneaker / normal shoe.”
“I have sweaty feet and I have always hated to wear shoes because of that. I bought these in the hopes that I could keep my feet cool. I was not disappointed. I sweat on the bottom of my feet and most "cool" shoes have breathable fabric on the top and impermeable soles. While these have breathable fabric uppers, they are extra nice in that when I walk, I can feel a breeze on my soles. I never have sweaty feet at the end of a day wearing them. I have been wearing them on several occasions when it happened to rain. I stepped in water and my feet and socks got wet. This is usually semi-catastrophic. With these shoes, my feet were dry within an hour of coming in out of the rain.I have not used them as actual water shoes, but I have no doubt that they function well in that role. I had to send them back twice for being too small and I wish they had half sizes above mens 10, but overall they are great.”
“I wear a legitimate 11.5 size shoe and took into account the fact that your foots going to be in water most of the time and swell a bit. I read that some weirdos were wearing socks with this bad boy and that's a no-no. They look fantastic as is. I have a problem with shoes fitting the top of my foot towards the leg a little snug. Same thing with this product. No deduction of stars because my body is different. Super breathability, stylish, easy slip on and off, a lot of compliments. Purchased the green and yellow- true to color.”
“took these on the JMT this summer; and they were the perfect camp shoe. Was advised to remove the inserts; but, I wish I hadn't - without the inserts, there is not much preventing sticks and rocks from protruding and "poking" you in the foot!”
