“I took these shoes on a trip to Thailand and SE Asia along with Teva sandals and some running shoes. I hardly wore my other footwear the whole time I was there because these shoes are amazingly comfortable. Even while working out in the gym I found them to be better ventilated and more comfortable than my running shoes, albeit with less support.Fitment of the shoes was as-expected. I normally wear an 11.5 or a 12.0 US and I ordered the 12 and the shoes fit perfectly so if you go half a size up, they will still fit amazingly well.As a testament to how comfortable these shoes really are, I got a wicked sunburn on Koh Samui that included my feet. I couldn't even put my Tevas on because the strap dug into the skin. These shoes are so lightweight and gentle on the tops of your feet that I could wear them for the 18 hour trip back to the US in spite of the sunburn.I've owned many pairs of Reef, Keen, and Columbia sandals as well as Sketchers comfort slip-ons and various brands of boat shoes that cost 4 times as much as this and none of them have proven to be this comfortable. They are so good I have continued to wear them in the warmer weather spring weather back home. I've had them for about a month and I've worn them most days out and about. It can be a surprise how the water comes straight through the bottom of the shoe if you step on a puddle but that's simply the way the shoes are designed.”
“Very light-weight. Built a lot better than I was expecting. The laces seen aren't adjustable...they're basically small pieces of elastic (so don't think you can tie the laces up). I definitely feel these are better to have than the typical sock-type shoe. The fit was perfect for what I got (9.5 M)”
“Took to Hawaii - exceeded my expectations! Very sturdy base, and comfortable. Minor drawback is the base foam piece has holes and rocks get stuck in them. In no way do the rocks cause discomfort when stuck, just annoying.”
“They are very comfortable, but... the tongue in each shoe slides completely to the outside and then the shoes feel as if they are going to slip off. I safety pinned them in place. Not very pretty, but makes them wearable.”
