“I am a size 9.5 in most shoes so I bought a size 9 since athletic shoes usually run big. They were too tight even after a couple uses, I was hoping they were going to stretch. So I bought a 9.5 and they were about a size 10 just way too big. I emailed the company and asked why such drastic differences in half sizes and they actually responded but it was too late, I had tried both pairs in hopes one would work out. Just beware if you are normally a half size you won’t find it here.”
“*These do not have shoestrings, they have simulated shoestring elastic bands! I chose these because I thought they had shoestrings. Well, I wore these on a trip up Wadi Mujib and they were great! I did wear socks with them as it was recommended by previous trippers because small rocks can get inside the shoes in the fast moving water. I don't think the socks helped though and sometimes you just have to deal with the elements to have a good time...that's what it's all about! I climbed rocks, battled currents, and jumped into a waterfall with the shoes on and they stayed on well. I then wore them into the Dead Sea and they were perfect! They fit about a half size too big.. ( I ordered 11.5 and they fit like a 12) .but, the width was perfect, the comfort was great, and I couldn't have asked for a better shoe. The black rubber stripped pieces that you see on the sole slightly started to peel off at the end of my one day trip. I would purchase these again, or another style by the same brand.”
