“The shoe does displace water, but traps to much sand, and make walking uncomfortable.”

“My wife and I were pretty mixed on these. We'll continue using them but will be keeping an eye out for alternatives.Pros-Very comfortable-Held up great on our trip-Look great for the price-Light and easy to packCons-There are multiple mesh layers on the shoe - if you walk in sand, you're never going to get it all out since the sand gets stuck between layers-If they're wet AND you get sand in them, they get pretty scratchy on the inside and are hard to fully rinse out-They take quite a long time to dry out (overnight)-The holes in the soles are just the right sizes for all sorts of rocks and pebbles to get stuck in. At best, you get home from your trip and spend 20 minutes prying out the rocks with a screwdriver. At worst, you get a rock stuck in one of the holes, and it's shaped just right to stick into the bottom of your feet as you walk.”

“I wear a size 9 and ordered the size 9.5. The shoes fit just right. Even though they get wet, they don't stay that way. They are very light and airy.”

“We bought these for our trip to Aruba since we were going on an island tour. We wore these down to the natural pool where there are a lot of slippery rocks. I felt very comfortable walking over the rocks in these. Little pebbles may get stuck in the bottom holes but it's not a big deal to remove them.”
