“Update: Downgrading to 1 star since they don't seem to care about quality control / product defect problems and have been completely non-responsive.For the most part, I like the design of these - other than mesh on the insoles which is too rough and abrasive. But there is a serious lack of consistency in them. They are MUCH larger than another very similar pair of water shoes from the same manufacturer. To be more specific, although the length is only very slightly longer, it is MUCH wider and also MUCH taller. Lastly, another quality control problem was that the rubber bottom on one of them was warped - in other words, the shoe didn't lay perfectly flat on the floor, it slightly twisted from front to back.”
“The shoe fit very snuggly, but not uncomfortable. Felt great walking around in the surf fishing or just relaxing on the beach. The shoes did block the suns rays - so no sunburn from a full day in the sun.”
“They run pretty large but then again I have flat feet so I tend to get a size larger on everything. I recommend possible getting a size smaller if you have wide flat feet. It's important to get a snug fit when white water rafting or walking along strong current.”
“Very light not as packable as some of the other water shoes that are basically just neoprene with a thin rubber bottom. Will be using these for hiking doing a lot of water Crossings where I need a more solid soul. These can also be used as camping shoes because they have the little leather Total Protection whereas the cheaper shoes do not.”
“Small rocks and pebbles will get lodged in the soles and soles provide no protection for your feet when this occurs. The rocks can be removed only by using a screwdriver or other instrument, and in the meantime, your feet suffer. They would be fine on sand, but for many other environments they major shortcomings.”
