“The shoe fits perfect and even looks good enough to wear around town when your not at the beach. The only complaint I had about it was the bottom of the shoe has massive holes allowing smaller rocks, sticks and sea shells to sneak in and stab the crap out of your feet!! And they ain’t the easiest to get back on once your feet are wet. Still a good product though for what it’s worth.”
“My son works at a kayak rental place and is in and out of the water all day. He also has to do chores around the ranch, and needed something with good support that would dry fast. He decided to give these a try and loves them so far!”
“Wore for a 4 day Boundary Waters trip with lots of portaging. These shoes worked great. After the first 2 days the insole started to separate a little, but not a big deal. Didn't have any trouble with rocks coming through the sole. Decent value for our purposes, would recommend.”
“3 stars, mainly because of what I see is a durability issue. First, they are comfortable and as far as performance is concerned are exactly what I was looking for. They're used mainly for wading/walking through the river and around camp - and they're great for that. They dry out quick, protect your feet from sharp rocks, have good grip, and are comfortable. Now the issues that knock this down to 3 stars: There is a thin lining on the top of the removable footbed that basically separated from the footbed itself within the first hour or so. I removed the lining from both footbeds though, and it didn't really impact anything, but it is worth noting. Now after about 16 hours, in and out of the water and on fairly rough terrain, I noticed that the sole on the right shoe is starting to separate from the upper. This is the main issue that I have; that for roughly $30 I couldn't get through the whole day without the shoe starting to come apart. I know that I beat them up pretty good, but I would expect at least a few rounds of use before needing either repaired or replaced. Also, when I took them off at the end of the day I had developed blisters on my my upper heel/Achilles area. I can't really blame that on the shoe, though, and - again - it was roughly 16 hours in and out of the water over varying terrain.Aside from the durability issues, they do exactly what I needed, and a good job at that. I just wish that they were something I knew I could rely on for at least a full camp season, and I don't think the construction is of that type of quality.”
