“I ordered these water shoes for a trip to Hawaii’s big island. I was able to walk on the lava rock without any problems. I took them on a hike through a wet rain forest and they held up just fine. I also used them on the beach which saved my feet from the small rocks. They did get a lot of sand I them from the beach but that is to be expected. Overall A ++”
“I bought a pair of Aleader Men's Mesh Slip On Water Shoes for a trip to Hawaii. I wasn't sure I would ever use them. Boy, was I surprised. I am about to begin week 2 of my trip, and I am using these shoes instead of Keen sandals, flip flops, and tennis shoes. They've been very comfortable. I've been wearing them pretty much every day all day.As for the comfort, I've worn Keens for many years; but I've found in recent years that the wonderful Keen arch support is no longer a good fit for me. I think, with older age (I'm 62), my feet have gone flatter and I can't wear the Keens for much longer than a couple hours before my feet hurt. My point isn't to review Keens, but to make sure you understand that the Aleaders are comfortable for my feet, and my feet now seem to like a flatter profile. If you need strong arch support, you may need a more expensive brand. One other observation I would make is that these shoes are great for roads, paved trails, sidewalks, and sandy beaches; but they do not work for me on gravel. There are perfect little pockets on the bottom of the shoes that catch all those little pebbles and stones. And the shoe bed is soft enough that I feel every one of them. So if you are thinking that these will serve you well on mountain trails, you may be disappointed.Other than that, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I'm still working out how to work these into my everyday activities back home. I'll add that they are amazingly quick drying. Sand does not seem to filter in and make my feet uncomfortable. And, after a week of constant use, I've got no raw spots on my feet. It has rained a little bit almost every day I've been in Oahu, but I've yet to have my feet slide on any of the field stone and other sidewalk surfaces here. Longevity of the shoe is yet to be determined....”
