“I’ve owned these for about a year now. So here is my take - they are great for any activity that doesn’t involve gravel or small rocks. The ONLY issue I have with these shoes is that the soles/tread pattern pick up small rocks and gravel very easily, and because they are so soft the small rocks end up hurting your feet until you pull them all out. Twice I have had a small pointed rock injur my foot, not horrible but bad enough that it hurt to walk and I have a relatively high tolerance for pain. I have not had this issue with any other piece of footwear.With that said, these shoes look great, are super comfortable on flat surfaces, grip great, and don’t get sweaty if you wear socks with them for casual use. My only issue is the tread/sole pattern. If the pattern was changed to address the issue with small stones, but retained all the other features, this would easily be a 5 star review.”
