“A little narrow and the bottom sole really bows out in the center so I could see some might roll an ankle. Otherwise they are really well made. Best suited for a boat or beach without lots of rock. Tried them out in the river and they don't give any grip.”

Having read the reviews here, where many said they are sized on the large size, I bought a relatively small size. To my surprise, they were far too small. I went a half-size up, and still too small. Third time was a charm, however, and the ease of the return process made the whole experience painless. As for the shoes, I LOVE THEM! Lightweight and airy for sure, but most important, I was able to walk on sand and in the ocean water, without having to shake sand out of them all the time. They were remarkably sand-free after a three-mile walk with my dog on the beach. Even with the holes on the bottom that allow water to flow through, there were barely a few grains of sand in them when I arrived back home. I ordered another two pairs for me and one for my wife too. If you walk on the sand and in water, these are the shoes for you. I used to own a pair of New Balance water shoes that I loved. I had them for three years, and was recently disappointed to learn that they were discontinued. I quickly forgot about them now that I've discovered these. Far lighter, and FAR less sand-filled!”
“Very comfortable, the shoes have a good strong friction underneath your feet, even in water for a good grip that prevents you from falling. I climbed a waterfall in these shoes and the grip was impressive.”
