“In my experience with these, they run huge. I wear a size 12 dress shoe, boot, tennis shoe. I bought a size 12 in these and they were gigantic. Thankfully, this was a free turn product. I ended up with a 10.5. As far as the shoe goes they're pretty great. My feet don't slip out of them, the grip on the bottom is excellent for rocks with algae. They're also just a very sharp looking water shoe. I'm not sure if anyone remembers what the original water shoes looked like, but these are incredible in comparison.The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because some of the drain holes in the heel are quite large and some good size rocks can get lodged in them. After that, every time you step down all the cushion in your heel is gone because you're stepping on that rock that's getting between your foot and the ground. It leads to some pretty painful moments with the right rock.”
“Bought these for my husband who has swollen feet. They did not work as they were not stretchy enough and the top of the shoe was not ample. I sent them back. Not a shoe for swollen or diabetic feet.”
“This is hands down, the best water shoe I have ever worn! You can wade through the water so easily compared to others because of it's design. Water and sand flow through these shoe's very well. I will never buy a different brand again. Thank you”
“First, let me just say how flippin', gosh-darned comfortable these water shoes are. I wore them in the Bahamas and honestly, I could have worn them for walking around town all day long if I'd wanted to. The soles are flexible and cushy, and they don't rub on your ankles or heels or anything. They seem to be quite durable as well, hardly showing wear. Plus they even look nice, sort of like mesh running shoes. Based on all this I want to give them 5 stars, because I'm quite happy with them. However...Next, let me list a couple minor issues: they don't keep out sand or pebbles, and in fact seem to attract and hold muck inside the shoe when you wear them on a muddy river bottom. Also, sometimes gravel-sized rocks can get wedged into the tread on the soles.And finally, I do have to talk about the one significant (fatal?) flaw: these water shoes don't dry quickly at all. They actually stay wet for a disappointingly long time after worn in the water. I can't really figure out why, considering they seem to be made of a mesh material. It's almost weird, like I can't even figure out where all this moisture is hiding! You almost need to let them sit out overnight to completely dry them. I'd say this could be a fatal flaw if you're really looking for a dedicated water shoe. Like, if you step in the water when launching your canoe or kayak, your feet are gonna be kinda wet and cold for the rest of the morning. In the heat of summer, though, that doesn't bother me.”
