“The sizes of these shoes are not true. I wear a 10.5. I order a 10.5 and a 9.5 because the sizes chart was a bit confusing. The 10.5 was way too big and the 9.5 was way too tight and narrow.”
“It’s good on your feet for wearing around the pool and everyday use but definitely won’t recommend using it at the beach since the sand will get in the shoe and can be very annoying to walk with and especially to remove and clean after. Sand will get stuck inside the shoe. Overall it is very comfortable under the right conditions.”
“Bought these for a hike through wet canyons. The holes in the bottom are great for water to run through the shoe and they dry quickly. The mesh fabric is sturdy, but rough and repeated rubbing through a 12 hour day of wear caused some discomfort on the soft skin on top of the foot. After significant wear, the discomfort did subside as the fabric was broke in. Our whole family now uses these shoes for hiking, swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Beware that the kidney bean size holes in the bottom are easy for rocks to get stuck in and you will have to remove them, although this is usually easy, it is a must because you can feel everything that touches the bottom of the shoe in your foot.”
“Note: I use these shoes for sailing.PROS: Light, comfortable, drain well and my feet don't get hot and sweaty/smelly.CONS: Not sure how long they will last - too early to judge. Biggest issue is that the holes in the sole allow draining but fill up instantly with small stones when we launch our dinghy from a beach. This proves a serious risk to scratching the deck and have to be painstakingly levered out.VERDICT: If stepping aboard from a dock these are well worth considering.”
“I previously owned a pair of these shoes, and was pleasantly surprise by how comfortable and durable they were. This is probably the first time in my life I've reordered the same pair of shoes. I originally got the shoes for a river trip and ended up wearing them regularly. The pair I just ordered are already starting to fall apart within the first couple of weeks. The gray rubber lining on the bottom of the shoe is already wearing off in multiple places. This is really surprising to me given I wore the exact same pair of shoes for over 8 months for hiking, 2 river trips, several workouts and on regular occasions. I'm hoping this is a one off situation and that the quality of the shoes isn't declining. The quality of most things seem to decline over time, so I might be looking for a similar shoe from a different manufacturer next time. I had planned on always having a pair of these.”
