“I bought these for an upcoming backpacking trip in the Wind River range. I needed something for river crossings, fishing and a general camp shoe. Initial impressions are that they fit pretty well, maybe a bit on the loose side with no socks. In that respect I way say that they are true to size. They appear to have good drainage and are definitely airy. Other than the slightly loose fit, my only other complaint is the the heal of the sole is in rounded, not flat. You can feel the shoe wanting to roll to the side as you walk. It many cases that's not such a big deal, but if you planned to walk a rocky trail in these you are asking to roll an ankle. I think for my purposes these will work fine, but I would not walk/hike any distance in them. Now for the most important part, the Blue shoes (3 fixed laces) in a size 12 are 9 7/8 ozs or 280g for the pair. In my 10+ years of backpacking these are the lightest (soled) water shoes I have found. Skinners are lighter (minimal sole), but pure torture walking a rock bottom river bed in.”
“Opening the shoes. They look nice in the photo but super cheap when you get them. The bottoms aren't flat but rounded. So it hard to walk on them. There also is a crease line I noticed at the heal and the ball of the foot. It looks warped. Just putting them on you can tell it's cheap netting and plastic/rubberish sole. I highly do not recomend. You can tell it's a cheap knock off from China. For $35 dollars you can get better water shoes from Target or Walmart.”
“I liked the shoes overall and fit pretty well. The arch support is not great. The width is a little narrow but they fit snug. The material is light and dries quickly. I think these will make For great boat shoes and kayak. Overall I rate them 8-9 out of 10. Would buy again and especially for the price.”
