“I bought these for hiking a medium length local trail that has lots of creek crossings. They fit the bill nicely for that, but I prefer to just use them when swimming or walking up the local creeks because after a few miles they really start to feel thin. With water, they are great and offer good comfort. They make it fairly easy to feel the shapes of rocks when walking where the bottom isn't visible. Watch out for sticks and areas with sharp objects though as there are small holes in the bottom. They fill with rocks constantly as well.Overall, these are still the best looking and toughest water shoes I have had as far as hiking a lot of distance over a lot of trails and creeks.”
“Bought these a couple of years back and use them infrequently. I have never been able to get rid of the problem with the tongue not staying in place as it should. The "eyelets" which really aren't functional eyelets, are of a poor quality and rough on the underside where they would contact the top side of your foot, which is exactly what happens when you aren't very careful putting them on. With a little more thought in the design and manufacturing process, this wouldn't have been an issue. Otherwise they have held up well.”
